These Fakro Attic Stairs come fully assembled including ceiling lid and are ready for installation.
As standard, a 36mm thick insulated hatch door is installed with all HomeTech FAKRO Attic Stairs. The hatch door is a pine frame finished on each side with a white or beige HDF panel. The outer side (visible when the door is closed) of the hatch door is smooth with no fixing points visible. The lock and the metal pole supplied make closing the hatch door easy.
The ladder is fastened with angle brackets that enable the ladder to be positioned and fixed precisely. The unique opening mechanism is designed in such a way that is does not hinder your access to the loft.
Treads are fitted using dovetail joints for added durability. Safety grooves are cut into the treads to prevent slipping.
The rough opening of the attic stairs is 600 x 1300mm. The maximum load the attic stairs can hold is 160kg.
